Engraving and laser cutting

New customisation options thanks to multifunctional 3D printers

We recently decided to purchase another piece of equipment for our rubber rope production: a FDM-3D printer, with functions for engraving, laser cutting, digital cutting (vinyl etc.) and drawing/pen mode.

With this acquisition, we are now in a position to provide our stop parts, such as pipe sections or cable lugs, with individual labelling using laser engraving. 

At the same time, we want to have various aids for our production - such as tool inserts or holders for spare parts for our machines, which we previously produced by hand - built using 3D printing.

Thanks to the acquisition and the associated automation of some tasks, we expect to be able to work more efficiently and precisely and are positioning ourselves for the future with this, as well as with the new customisation options for prefabricated rubber ropes.
