For us, sustainability means more than environmentally friendly materials, efficient processes or durable products. For us, sustainability also encompasses the idea of how we take responsibility for people in our society. For this reason, we have once again made a conscious decision this year to forego traditional gifts and instead channel our commitment into donations. This year, we are supporting 3 organisations and initiatives that help where help is urgently needed:

When making our decision, it was important to us to support both international and regional organisations and initiatives. After all, sustainable action always starts on our own doorstep.
Action Germany Hilft is an alliance of aid organisations that provides fast and effective help in humanitarian crises worldwide. In the event of natural disasters, conflicts or other acute emergencies, for example, the organisation ensures that aid arrives where it is most urgently needed.
Welthungerhilfe is committed to overcoming hunger and poverty worldwide. In addition to acute emergency aid, the focus is on sustainable development projects such as food security, clean water, education and helping people to help themselves. The aim is to open up long-term prospects for people.
The chain of helping hands is a local, Solingen-based charity organisation that supports people with illnesses or disabilities.
With our decision, we want to lead the way and encourage others to think about alternative forms of appreciation.
