Frequently asked questions
1. how do I order a sample or a quotation?
You can order directly via our Contact page request offers and samples by phone or e-mail. 2. is there a minimum order quantity?
No, but we do charge a minimum quantity surcharge for orders with a total value of less than €25.
3. what tensile forces and diameters can you produce?
We manufacture Rubber ropes in a diameter range from approx. 2 mm to approx. 16 mm. Our rubber cords achieve tensile forces of up to approx. 1100 N, depending on diameter, material and degree of elongation. 4 How do I find the right material and colour combination?
The optimum combination is determined by the area of application, environmental conditions, safety requirements and design wishes. We work with you to develop a customised rubber cable solution for your application.
5. which rubber materials do you use in your rubber rope production?
We process various elastomer materials, including Natural rubber (NR), Neoprene (CR), cold-elastic compounds, high-performance elastomers and textile solutions such as Lycra® (Elastane). The choice of material depends on the requirements for elasticity, temperature, environmental resistance and service life. 6. which yarn materials do you use in your rubber rope production?
Polypropylene (PP) - Lightweight, robust, moisture-resistant
Polyester (PES) - High strength and UV stability
Polyethylene (PE) - Extremely abrasion-resistant
Aramid- High tear and cut resistance, non-flammable 7 What role does braiding play in rubber ropes?
The textile braiding protects the rubber core and influences properties such as abrasion resistance, UV resistance, feel and appearance. Depending on the application, we use different yarns such as PP, PES, PE or aramid. 8 What are stop parts and what can they be used for?
Stop parts are connecting elements that are used to assemble rubber ropes. These include hooks, spirals, eyelets, cable lugs, rope clips, wire rings, balls, loops and clips. These are available in various designs and materials to suit the rope thickness and application requirements. 9. can I get customised stop parts or special designs?
Yes, we supply customised rubber ropes with matching Stop parts according to your requirements. If a standard part does not fit, we will be happy to advise you on the optimum solution, or we can also process stop parts provided by you. 10. can I fit the stop parts myself?
No. The Stop parts are attached using special presses and/or tools that we have customised to your requirements. (If you have this work material, you can of course also fit the stop parts yourself). 11. in which colours and patterns are your rubber ropes available?
Our Rubber ropes are available in a wide range of colours. In addition to classic standard colours, we also manufacture rubber cords with individual colour combinations, such as multi-colour braiding or functional colour concepts, tailored to the application, design or safety requirements. Additional costs may be incurred for individual colours due to minimum order quantities. 12. for which temperature ranges are your rubber ropes suitable?
That depends on the material. Cold-elastic variants remain flexible even in freezing temperatures (down to around -20 °C), while traditional elastomers and high-performance compounds cover a wide temperature range. We coordinate your individual requirements with you in the project.
