An overview of our yarn technology

In our production process, we prioritise four main areas Specialised yarn typeseach of which has different mechanical, thermal and chemical properties. Depending on the requirements, we select the optimum material to ensure maximum functionality, quality and reliability.

🔹 Polypropylene (PP) - lightweight, robust and versatile

Polypropylene is a thermoplastic material that impresses with its high resistance to moisture, chemicals and mechanical stress as well as its low weight. PP yarns are available in numerous standard colours, which also makes them interesting for visually structured systems. They are also ideal for applications where an economical solution with solid performance is required.

🔹 Polyester (PES) - tensile strength and dimensionally stable

If high strength, good dimensional stability and excellent UV resistance are required, then PES the right choice. These properties make PES the first choice for outdoor applications and environments with increased sunlight exposure. In addition, PES offers individual colour options for special design requirements.

🔹 Polyethylene (PE) - abrasion-resistant and durable

PE yarns are characterised by exceptionally high abrasion resistance and a wire-like structure - ideal for applications where maximum durability is required or where mechanical loads and longevity are paramount. PE is ideal for ropes that are exposed to permanent friction.

🔹 Aramid - tear-resistant, cut-resistant and temperature-resistant

Aramid is characterised by extreme tear and cut resistance as well as temperature resistance. It is inherently non-flammable and therefore predestined for high-performance applications in safety-critical areas, as well as for applications where the highest safety standards are required
